Pre-Pre-Beta: V2


Introduction

Behold, a new and unexpected update for Project 2 Knights 1 Slime! I said that I would not be giving this game another update for quite some time, but recently I decided to play this again and I realized just how broken and irritating it was to play. So, here's a new update that fixes some of those problems and also adds the basic upgrades shop back into the game, so now you can upgrade your skills!

Additions and Changes

Player
  • You can no longer stop your jump before you reach your maximum height, now you will always do a full jump.
  • Added two seconds of invincibility whenever you get hurt.
  • You now fall 50% slower, allowing for further jumps and more time to land.
Slime
  • Edited the slime's "AI" to work better, this include:
    • The slime will no longer double jump.
    • Removed "Super Jumping" where the slime would do a double jump and then blast off into the sky.
    • The slime will now locate the nearest platform and move towards it if the player isn't nearby.
    • The slime will no longer fly off the edge of the screen, die to the void, and then respawn. It should now loop back into the screen.
    • The slime can no longer hurt you when it's dying.
  • The slime's health is now always in front of any object.
  • The slime's health text will no longer be inverted.


Shop
  • The Sorcerer's shop will now display the price of the buffs.
  • The basic upgrades shop has been readded, now with the new scroll background instead of a transparent black background.
